Okay, since Flash is ubiquitous and freely available, I did not expect
issues regarding support of Flash [only of Flex which has been open
sourced through MPL]. As mentioned by Grant in the below post, Apache
has projects

I'm still voting -1 on having a flash-based project within MyFaces
unless someone can show that this code works with a non-proprietory
Flash player.
I doubt that.
I'd be happy to see this project succeed, but not here at Apache. This
foundation exists to promote open source software, not

I'm voting +1 for this subproject. I don't see the current Adobe Flash
dependency as a roadblock, and I don't think other contributers here should
either. Adobe have recently made significant leaps into open sourcing their
products and I feel it to be a matter of time before supporting
+1 for having FlexFaces as a subproject. Having this project under MyFaces
IMO will be a very good addition to the project.

I wanted to host my project I am working on under
the Tomahawk umbrella since I rely on tomahawk
code but since maven can resolve the dependencies
I am fine with being in a dedicated web 2.0
subproject as well.

it was my suggestion - +0.9

so far)
i think we should discuss it within an alchemy proposal.
