And let's see if we can include the archetypes in the default mvn
archetype:create. When you type that for the newest maven, you get a list
with possible archetypes and it would be nice to have the myfaces ones in
there :)

Hi, is this possible with the myfaces-builder-plugin to extend components
that are part of another jar library (e.g. extending a tomahawk component
from a third-party lib)?.

Hi Bruno,
The plugin goals for config-file and code generation requires a
myfaces-metadata.xml file as input which contains all the info about
component classes, properties, etc.
For the case where tomahawk extends myfaces-api and myfaces-impl, that
file is just available directly from the jar's

Hey Bruno, you could use the Portlet Bridge's demo project as an
template if you want. Also, I'm assuming you're going to be using the
bridge project instead of the built-in bridge, correct?

I would like to ask for your opinion before starting to commit the new
MyFaces Maven skin (based on the designs Adonis provided). Please have a
look at [1] for a quick preview, it's not the entire website, so most of the
links don't work, but most of the elements that have been customized can be
+1 from me. Excellent work.
I also wouldn't mind switching to XDOC for the Download pages on the
portlet bridge if we have to, but I'd want to move the MyFaces downloads
page as well. It's far to easy to do a cut and paste over the new
release block. If we don't do this, I'm okay with the

Yeah, i also think we might need to change to XDoc for some of the pages, if
we want to them to realy fit as a whole (but we can do this afterwards).
Thanks for the quick reviews, i'll leave some more time for others to have a

We definitely need the same for library suite demos for trinidad and
tomahawk.
Compared to other libs' demos like richfaces or icefaces, our example

Definitely a next step, but that shouldn't prevent the website makeovers
from continuing IMO. Skinning Trinidad demo to look like this is a
