Updated the tomee-embedded module which has an embeddable version of TomEE.
With a couple tweaks we're now using the same embedded code that Tomcat uses in
its internal tests and things are pretty fast.
Running in my IDE I've seen speeds as low as 1.8s, but normally around 2.5 or
2.8s
Here's what I've seen so far:
LICENSE: looks like the W3C license is missing. OpenEJB source includes W3C
licensed schemas, but the W3C license is missing from the LICENSE file.
Build failure -- I had a build failure in CDI TomEE. Anyone else seeing that?
[INFO] OpenEJB :: TCK :: CDI TomEE
. apache-tomee already contain the attribution, just
needed in the a few more places...
Everything else looked good. Once the above/preceding problems are fixed, I'll
be +1.
Great job pulling this together, David!

release TomEE ASAP. David blevins will be talking at JavaOne and its a
great opportunity to atleast let the folks know about TomEE. Timing
wise , this is a superb opportunity for releasing a shiny brand new
TomEE.

Ok! I think it's voting time. I've rolled a few binaries and worked out every
little license detail and finally got something I think is probably the best
set of binaries we've rolled.

Are you able to access the html file on people.apache.org at the moment?
Looks like I can't get a http connection to that machine either from home or
work at the moment. I'm really keen to check to check that out.
Thanks for rolling this, I'm going to try and get a bit of time to look at

The reporting tool looks really great.
Would be nice to add a goal for it to rat maven plugin.
Anyway, looks great.
Everything also compiles on my laptop.
Will give it another try tonight.
