I did some further tests this afternoon. The results are encouraging,
though I found additional errors:
1.) spaces before {$OUT:...} prevent any output, e.g.
_{$OUT}-...something...
where '_' is a space won't work.
2.) I still have problems with the PLOT. Both with Win XP SP2
