Thanks for the help Jon, I've tried adb devices and my Flame doesn't show up,
although two drives are mounted (OSX 10.9.x) both called NO NAME, one is the
phone and the other is a 32GB SD card.
My Flame is definitely plugged directly into my MacBook Air, so I'm a bit

Recently, it was landed in master (not 2.0) Bug 935891 that allows showing
the SMSC number but it¹s not possible to edit that field yet. It seems
that a Gecko API would be necessary for that first.
Cheers

Hi,
I need help with my Firefox Flame. I got it two days ago and have

I cloned the gaia repo from Github and did a make reset-gaia. Since then,
while the phone does turn on, the home screen doesn't show any icons. The

Most likely a previous build put stuff in device/qcom/msm7627a and now that
folder isn't needed anymore (did you change device?). It is erroring here
in case you put it there yourself and forgot to save your work. If you
haven't touched it you can safely delete that folder, rm -rf

This is good question and I'd like to know an answer as well. And more, I'd
like to be able to delete all contacts from phone as well.
I'm maintaining my contacts on Google and use import feature, which works
pretty well for the first time, but updates are different story.

Hi Ben.
Bulk delete only deletes all contacts on the phone memory, but leaves those
stored on the SIM card untouched. I know because I can reimport my contacts
from the SIM card after doing bulk delete.

Which folder does it back up its cache, playlists like highly rated etc.

Hi,
You need to enable ADB, since it's disabled by default.
1 - Eanble the developer menu. This is in Settings-Device Information-More

don't have this let us know)
2 - Then when you go back out to the main menu,
Currently the build system unconditionally does a backup on the first build.
Is that backup needed for gaia or gecko builds?
If I do a backup, build then and a full flash, is the only thing that
is changing on my phone gaia and gecko since I'll be reflashing the
original libraries that I backed
Gaia is nearly completely standalone and details like this don't matter.
Gecko does not directly require backup files, but certain libraries which it
does depend on might not link without these files.
Full flashes change everything. There's only a small set of files actually
