Embarrassingly, I don't actually think that's currently possible. I.e. we don't have anything similar to a file:// protocol. Mainly because we have our security model locked down tight enough that this gets blocked. That's something that we should figure out how to fix without impacting our securi

Ankit, your idea will definitely work -- simply start the XWindow with "B2G Desktop" (the B2G test builds for Linux) -- you don't even need to compile anything. The only caveat of this set up is that B2G (and Gaia System) only take cares of Web Apps hosted in . Back in 2008(!) there was a project
