Every time I flash my Flame (full flash, on top of v18D in 2.2, but also
previously in 2.1, 2.0), it ends with this error:
Attempting to set the time on the device

Why is that?
Can't we fix flash.sh to work properly, at least on
For those interested, the problems in all cases were (probably) the
result of IMAP clients that didn't understand gmail's folder model (or
XLIST or LIST with special-use flags) having created a false/redundant
sent mail folder. Because of our limited screen real-estate and the
UI's sorting
Thanks for raising the issue here, Ralph!
To be honest,I doubt that Alcatel would tell users how to root
devices. After all, it's not a developer device, and giving root
access raises security issues. Without the device being rooted,
however, I cannot migrate and backup OpenWapp messages. That
Hi,
we discovered Problems with the B2g BumperBot which seems to be broken
currently (and nagios didn't detect this).
Pete Moore from releng is working on it. Gaia is closed for solving this
problem.
Sorry (again).

Bug 1070061 [1] has been filed for this but it apparently flew under the
radar. There's already a patch there and I've flagged :mwu for review.
Hopefully we'll land it soon and

fyi, you can probably back up the boot.img via using dd, something like : adb
shell dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd0 of=/sdcard/boot.img bs=4096
(you'll have to look up which is the boot.img via looking at files like the
proc/partitions or proc/mounts )

John,

Was your intention to write this.network = this.result[0]?
Hello!
I am attempting to get network stats on B2G device from certified app via

I built a new blank privileged app with WebIDE, then I set the following in

Yes, since weeks ago it's impossible to download videos from Youtube in
Firefox OS.
Maybe you can try Downtube, an old app that works with some videos (not
all).

Felix is probably right.
Basically in this case rooting the phone involves changing the boot.img so that
it's debuggable.
If you make your own boot.img and are able to get into fastboot mode, that's
one way to make the device rooted.
Granted, there's a chance you could also mess up the device.
