I have patched the cvs version so it always send with TON=1 and NPI=1. (this
TON and NPI work with kannel 1.0.3)
But kannel-cvs still cannot submit_sm correctly.
I think the problem because there is no terminating character (NULL) in
smpp_pdu.

i installed kannel1.0.3.rpm with libxml2-2.4.13-3.i386.rpm and it works
but in kannel1.1.5
./configure produces an error..

The log shows the following entry:
2002-02-04 13:47:19 [6] DEBUG: WTP_RESP: no sar implemented,aborting
transaction
which means the client has requested SAR processing and Kannel refused
that. By protocoll the client SHOULD fall

I've been playing around with kannel (v1.0.3) and I _like_ it :)
However, there's a lot of references on the mailing lists to 1.0.3 being more
or less deprecated ("nobody really bothers to do bugfixes on 1.0.3"), 1.1.5
being a lot better, and very stable, and even CVS being the preferr
