Deadline is next Sunday, June 26.
Both events happen in Berlin, on Oct 11-13, so I think there's not really any
excuse for not having Qt sessions there.
The deadline for LinuxCon Europe is today and it also happens in Berlin, the
week before (Oct 4-6). I hope people submitted talks about Qt (I

See 3 scenarios attached. I'll send a fourth scenario later, when I try at
home with my 45" TV that reports its size as 160 x 90 mm.
Software scaling (scenario 3) is achieved with:
$ xrandr --output DP-1 --mode 1920x1080 --scale 2x2 --p

Hi everyone,
I try to use the new QtSerialBus with the Qt 5.7.0, and during my test, the

When I opened source code, I saw this :

Hi all,
After shipping the high-dpi update in 5.6 we’ve gotten several reports
that application scaling does not always come out as intended (see
QTBUG-52318, QTBUG-53416, QTBUG-53500, and QTBUG-54144). I’d like to
take a look at this again.
There are a lot of different configurations out there s

I propose David Schulz for Maintainer status for Qt Creator text editors and
CDB integration.
He has a long history in Qt Creator and factually maintained these areas for a
long time now.

What is the purpose of adding those items to QtCore?
Is it that it "feels" more stable when it is inside that module, or because you
need this feature on a regular basis?
At least personally, I never needed to implement a service, yet s
From QtService.cpp :
"The QtService is a convenient template class that allows
you to create a service for a particular application type.
A Windows service or Unix daemon (a "service"), is a program that
runs "in the background" independently of whether a user is logged
in or not

And, what about QtService from QtSolutions ?
I don't know what that does.
On Windows it implements the interface so you can register a Qt
application as a service and the users can control from the standard
windows services panel - starting, s
