A while ago I got a great answer in how to adjust a property

If it's not a custom lookup
created by X++ then I guess the lookup is sorted depending on the primaryIndex
(the table property).

you tried rebuilding the Application Object Index?
If you
dont know how... find the file in the application directory with the extension
.aoi and rename it, you can delete it later if it fixes your problem, then
restart axapta you should get a message about
Just copy axsys.aod from your test version of from your local installation
to the live version.
This file is the same for each major version of Axapta (in your case 3.0)
