That is what I thought. When I enable thread-sorting in Squirrel Mail it
tells me the "IMAP server doesn't support thread sorting".
I realize the error message may not be accurate, so back to the drawing
board.

HA is a great concept for SME.
E-mail has become a mission critical application in some businesses, we
need to have out-the-box HA SME Server, just like our Enterprise SME
server boy am I a dreamer!

I agree Darrell. I am just starting to get my feet wet with development,
however Ext3 or another jounalized file system is giving me reason to
explore alternatives to SME. I will not upgrade my personal servers to any
later version of SME until journalized filesystem is standard.
Just my thoughts.

I can understand the frustration that some have with some of these
development issues, however I would like to say that many of the people
that I know that are running the e-smith server have need of the modules
that have not yet been ported to the newer kernel.
With that said,

Steve, AFAIK, threading is done on the client side. This is an option on
some of the better e-mail/webmail clients.

HA has it's place. Unfortunately this is more geared to corporate
enterprise. For the typical SME user, HA is overkill.
Developers,
In order to efficiently manage requests for hosting, mirroring and
cataloguing of contrib packages and HOWTOs, we've created a new
point of contact for the developer community.
As of right now, please use the following address for all contact
with Mitel Networks regarding contribs:

Yes and no.
That's e-smith templates for wu-imap.
SME has a custom patched version of wu-imap for maildir support.
In my opinion (and, I think, also in Michael Weinberger's) it's not a very
good patch.
Michael has written an howto for
A search of the RPMs on the system shows :
e-smith-wu-imap-1.2.0-04
This is the IMAP server, yes?

Hi Darrell,
Maybe High Availability is getting more interesting to _prevent_ this
kind of situations.
What do you think?
