i created an empty folder and added this line to my freenet.ini file and
its all good now:

Yes, it does partly answer the question of what
setting, but I wanted to know if
Mainport is not being set by the windows installer. When users go to use
their brand new node, instead of the gateway they get the phantom jpeg on
http://127.0.0.1:/ (see attached .jpg)
This is just one of the recent changes not caught by the windows
