When you use DTR for CW and PTT with RTS, how does an interface such as
Rigblaster handle this with the COM ports?
You must need to connect a COM port to each of them, right?
If you have only one COM port available you can either key CW or key
PTT, but not both. And if you need rig control,
Now that's a cute feature... THANKS!!!
Thanks,

In typical ham applications, the voice itself is analog. The ALE
function is used to link the stations and automagically get them on a
frequency where they can communicate via normal SSB voice.
Military ALE nets and radios are often very operated very differently.

Dear All,
I am new to this group.
I am wondering if there is a good source for wave files for identifying
what mode is being transmitted. It gets a little confusing with hit

So RIck, is this the same for Icom and Mixw? I have a friend that
can;t get MixW to do both rig control and PTT with his 746 Pro but can
get Commander /MUltipsk to do it.
For WinDRM though, there is NO CW...just PTT.

Its my plan to enable Commander to provide for outgoing CW via a
modem control signal on the same serial port used for CAT commands
and RX-TX switching (aka PTT). Besides eliminating the need for a
second serial port, this will exploit those transceivers with built-
in ascii-to-CW capability.
