500 ... had a qso with multipsk 110 baud packett .. worked but neede

The KISS interface is complete for Packet (connected and Unproto).
In PAX and PAX2, the KISS link is only available in Unproto (for APRS, for
example).
It works well and permits to send APRS positions at very long distance using
for example UI-VIEW, Multipsk being the modem

Yes it is not classical in Multipsk. You have just to push the button
Connect (I prefer buttons as you can observe...).
