I do not see anything on my machines that is accessing a serial port. I have
gone through a list on device manager and it started exploring each of the
services one by one. Several minutes ago I installed a program called Serial
Port Monitor.

I just bought a USB cat control cable for my Yaesu FT-817, and want to
use it with Fldigi to control my rig. I installed hamlib, but I don't
understand how to set it up in Fldigi (there are no radios listed in
the pull down list). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My SDR receiver is due to be delivered tomorrow. I am looking
forward to using a wide band panadapter for receive and having my
transceiver sync'd for ability to transmit when desired. Since I
vacillate between CW and digital modes , I will enjoy keeping an eye
