I have been to Amtech days in the past and would love to see a demo of JT65A.
Maybe you could demo other modes also. I am in CM87xj/mountain view.

Is there anyone in the bay area California who wouldn't mind assisting me on
JT65A? I think I am pretty clear on how it works but I would like to see
someone else use it.
My station is mobile so we could meet anywhere.

I cranked the signalink usb to full power and it still wasn't strong enough.
However the software has a digital gain in it. When I increased that it seemed
to work fine. I didn't have time to test it with an actual signal, but will
test it tonight.
Thanks. K6WRJ

Tonight I got WSJT working for the first time and I found my first problem. I
am using a Signalink USB connected to a ft-897 the waterfall is almost all

signals showed up excellent on my PSK waterfall but barely sho
For field day I will be responsible for digitial communications. I have
searched high and low, looked in both manuals for the FT-897D and have been
unable to find any information on duty cycle.
Does anyone have any information that would help me determine the duty cycle of

I figured it out, I just had to think back to windows 3.1 days and look for a
configuration file.

I completely agree with this, when I first got my ticket, I would call CQ on
the local repeaters, and of course I identified myself every 30 seconds just to
be sure.
Someone told me, you don't need to call CQ and people snicker when Noobs do it.
I was embarrassed but was happy to know how to
During an emergency you can pretty much do whatever it takes to get your

But if you can't decode him turning up your power won't help.

Is there a noise free 12 volt to lower volt circuit that can be built? Maybe
one that would handle 9,5,3 and 1.5 volts. I would be willing to build cords
to remove all ac/dc converters from my radio area.

A lot of notebooks have 12 volt adapters for use in cars, trains, and

power. I am thinking about getting a 12 volt adapter for remote psk 31 work
without having to have an inverter. The nice thing is that the power
