I'm currently studying the HCI-E Masters at UCL, and I am enjoying
every moment of it. Ok, maybe not every moment, but I'm really happy I
decided to go with UCL instead of City (my other choice).

One option is to do a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction, which has
slightly more emphasis in psychology, with a sprinkling of design,
anthropology, systems thinking, etc.

I think this is a very potent introduction and reminder of what user
experience people do.
I think it's also useful as a rough sketch and not as a formal
framework, since there's usually not a one-size fits all approach.

I've the lead programmer on a recent Flex project, and it's not easy
to get around, despite its similiarities to Javascript/HTML.
Flex tends to lend itself better to structured layouts (e.g. tables,
menus, pages).
Getting it to do something else requires time, planning and good
execution.
