I received my new SB2 yesterday and installed SlimServer 6.0.2.
I ran into this problem almost immediately. It's already happened
twice more since then (in the last 24 hours).
The problem is as previous described - when left turned off, after a
while the clock will "slow down" or even stop (not
broadbandstuff.co.uk say they are expecting their first silver ones
tomorrow. I'm hoping they will have a spare wired one for me (although
I haven't even ordered it yet!).

A bunch of units arrived today in the UK. As soon as they arrived, 90% we
shipped out to resellers. We will be shipping an even larger amount by the
end of this week. That batch should fully eliminate the backlog in the UK.

I've noticed that if I start Slim.exe from a command prompt (the same
holds true for slimserver.pl) with an asynchronous launcher, the
program never starts. Just starting from a command line it works fine.
