rip & tag - and for the moment, I can't figure out how to edit the tags

I did infact try both fixes, changing the file through notepad and then
reloading alienbbc (deleted two files covert & custom in Slimserver and
plugin folder) extracted new Alien BBc within Slimserver 6.2.

Believe I've settled on adding sb, but was curious about skipjam.

I am running a slimserver 6.1.1. on a mac G5 running 10.4.2.
No matter what i do, (i.e. setting up the music folders manually or
using iTunes) I cannot get my iTunes Library to match my Slimserver
library.
iTunes tells me it has: 477 albums, 6965 tracks and 298 artists

More and more internet radio stations move to aacplus to save bandwith

If you connect the squeezebox to the hub, and the NIC to the hub, then no.
If you connect the squeezebox to the NIC, probably. Most Macs will
autodetect the kind of connection you have and

So far it was 6.1.1 for everyone, but now we have someone reporting it
also in 6.0.1. Please Mike tell us if the wipe cache solves the problem
for you.
It makes it easier to narrow down where to look for errors.
It's possible this error is already fixed in 6.2 which is going to be
released soon
I'm glad I found this thread. I'm also having this problem on WinME
with SlimServer 6.0.2 but I haven't done the Wipe Cache option so I
will try that tonight.

You've got me thinking now. I'd never thought of Random Mix being used
as a jukebox i.e. you add songs and it plays them but, if it runs out
of songs, it chooses songs at random. It doesn't work this way at
present as there is always at least one random item at the end of the
playlist. Unless y
