So if it dies during the track-scan, it won't get to the scan for

Hi,
On the remote control, pressing the back button doesn't delete
characters. It just backs over them. How can I delete characters? I

To expand slightly on your shorthand directions,
1. Install the service of MusicIP in Dos Box.
Open a Command Prompt and change directory to "C:\Program
Files\MusicIP\MusicIP Mixer" and type "MusicmagicServer install"
2. Add the following value to your Regist
That's pretty nice. But it seems to me that all you really needed was
to remove the stand and use those holes to bolt the Squeezebox directly
into the wall, with a hole cut out of the wall to accomodate the rear
connectors.
The face plate isn't really necessary, as the hole is covered by the

people work on it for free. The mentality that open source projects
are above criticism because they are free annoys me. If something is a
piece of crap, it's a piece of crap whether or not it's free.

Just for clarification (sorry, can't help with the actual problem):
Album artwork has nothing to do with the rescan problem. It's a known
problem that artwork doesn't show up under "Browse artwork" if you add
albums by browsing the music folder.
sdf's observation isn't related to either problem. M

More or less already answered, but you'd be avoiding the 2 wireless hop

1 wireless hop is enough.

Zen.
So the only fan is the one on the CPU heatpipe - no idea how noisy that

Devolo) and they're fantastic.

size (3.5") hard drive. Looks like it would be perfect for running

Hello there, PMFJI but I haf the same sort of intermittent problems
after upgrading to 6.3 on Linux, remove it and re-install 6.2.2,
rebuild your database using rescan , and all should be well

I logged on to SN this morning and was pleased to see that Slim has
added a new menu dedicated to the World Cup .. with info on all teams
that are playing... great stuff!!!
Just wonder if there is any way to integrate audio streams of matches
into this menu group.. or is that too much to expect ;
