Problem found: there was a second link to this drive in an album folder!
Cannot imagine how it got there.
Stupid me!

The other issue on speed is how MySQL is configured on Linux and
Windows. I guess at that point you may want to look at a single album
and see if it really is the NAS or some other component.
A direct file copy under the two OS may also give an indicative result
of OS perfromance.

I have a vague idea why you installed them - I kind of remember what MH is

Ah! I wondered what MH stood for!
I'd be interested to know whether MHCPAN is causing the problems. Could

Hi Phil
Do I need to restore one of the plugins that will use MHCPAN, or will it
simply be invoked by its presence?
Yes, for the potentially critical code to be called you'll have to have
one of my plugins installed (I think it's used by Biography/AlbumReview).

Is there just no sound or does the now playing screen not even pretend

Well, the Now playing screen shows up when I hit play in either the

Sounds like something got tightened up in your network config. If a

Also, have you tested Soft Squeeze to prove whether or not the problem

I'm sure you have tried a reinstall but if not try that.
It could be a preferences problem, look here.
It could also be a quicktime problem reinstall that.
It could also be something else in windows that's causing the trouble.
