Yeah, that DST stuff is a nuisance. I had a cron job scheduled for 02:00

I am looking to integrate the SB into an existing home distributed A/V
system. It is a Niles system with 5 zones. Speaker cables all go back to
the a/v closet. There are no local inputs in the different zones (like the

I'd agree with using the 2 SB's at the Niles controller. I assume that
the purpose of the sync'd units in the rooms is for their display /
remote control use?
If so, I think a better option is to purchase a couple of Nokia N770 or
800 tablets. These use your WLAN to control the players

music directory on a Nas server and using musicmagic - that server was
getting pretty full and so I have added another hard drive usings its
usb ports (its a terastation)

You could repair it with the right tools, but it's probably easier to
just delete the whole database. Try shutting down SlimServer and
deleting the MySQL database files. I'm not positive where that is on

No, the SqueezeBox does NOT need to be connected, with a wire, to
speakers. Plug in a wireless FM transmitter to the audio out jack, and
viola.
