I found a solution by putting shorten.exe in the slimserver bin

So, since I am blind, is there a set of keystroeks which I can push on

seeing the display as I'm navigating? I don't always know where in the

I am blind as well and have pointed out the problem earlier. :p There is
no solution to the problem via the remote.
Only way is to go to www.squeezenetwork.com and disconnect the player
from there.
It is under players in the main menu of the site.
However SS 7 is said to include the function we wo

Jason,
As you point out, the remote is not useable by the blind. Thus, I
don't use the remote, and only control the Squeezebox via SlimServer on
my PC.
Once in a while, I do try to play the last station which may have been
playing by first hitting the power button and then the play button.

Neither d_scan nor d_parse, nor any other d_ that looks promising, adds

I suspect there is a bug in the error message - the $fh ought to expand

Where is the serial number located on an SB3? I'm updating my household
inventory list, and while the S/N is conspicuous on my SB2s, I don't

I think it would be possible to do this with a plugin. The problem is
just to decide how to detect that two tracks belong together.
I'm guessing that it should be safe to assume that they should be
played in track number order and that the tracks are on the same
album/disc ?
If that is the case
One of the (many) downfalls of Random Play. What it comes down to is
that if you don't want to put any effort into what you listen to, then
what you get is equally mindless.
