The trick with movies and games is that latency is a killer: any delay will cause a movie to be badly lipsynced and be annoying even on BubbleBobble for games. Game developers and Video-player devs work hard to get as close to the soundcard itself as they can so they can time things precisely. A

Do the other devices (e.g. one of the computers) work using homeplug in the exact same power socket as you're testing with the SB3? It's possible that the wiring is preventing the homeplugs from working in certain outlets and it may not be anything to do with the SB3. -- radish
