Already tried a lot of options including swapping SPDIF/Coaxial but the
CD player keeps sounding better.

It's still there. Click on settings on the main page. In the window which
opens up, go to the Plugins tab and make sure the Rescan plugin is
selected. Then go to the Advanced tab and select Rescan Music Library from
the pulldown menu.

Same here. Very disappointed right now. I have a high-power line
within 500 feet of my house and it's between the transmitters and our
house. AM radio was impossible so streaming was the way we got certain
stations. Now, poof! Gone.

The voltage should be the same, the amp rating has more leeway - 1.5 or
higher should be OK. Slim used to sell them online, maybe drop support
a line and see if they can send you one.

and 6.5 builds. Then I updated to Leopard and 7.0 Alphas worked. Then
upgraded to 10.5.2 and 7.0 quit on me.

I have tried the suggestions everyone has given with no luck. Not sure
which way to proceed next. Considering everything was working
perfectly 10 minutes before I upgraded to squeezecenter that seems to

Use SoftSqueeze which will be much better (tho nowhere near as close as
a hardware player).

Nope. Still having the same problem. It seems better,
i should actually point out a few things...
i had to use small s in 'stream.mp3,' big S gets me 404 not found.
also, it does say "connected to SC" but at 320kbps and no sound. all
my mp3s are at 256.
