Just recently I have added a new album to my library, Duffy Rockferry.
Rescanned the library and SC found and registered the album, all was
fine and album played. However on 2 separate occasions when I came to
play again the library folder under Duffy is empty, all other music is

Foobar2000 for me.

does it analyse your music? What part does it analyse? Just the Genre
tags?

I seem to be having one of those SB networking disasters.
I have 5 SBD's connected to a Netgear 1Gb switch with a ReadyNAS NV+
running Squeeze center.
The trouble I am having is the receivers seem hard to connect to the
network. When I finally convince them to connect will not reconnect
For backup - copy the file called favorites.opml and it is stored in the
Playlist directory. I'm not sure where it is saved if playlist directory
is not defined perhaps cache directory.
In theory you can change the permission of the favorites.opml file but
that might break some parts of SC.

than look at genre tags. It's actually pretty uncanny how good a
playlist it can put together based on a few seed tracks that you

Looks like a tagging problem to me.
All the files of a single artist album should (theory/logic) have the
same base (Artist, Album Title) tags set.
In your case, some tracks seem to have the Disc Number tag set, while
others don't.
Some tracks could also have trailing spaces in the

from the web interface? I've had a couple of automatic overnight
rescans fail on me recently and haven't quite worked out why. Planning

First the bug. When clicking on now playing, which takes you to the
large album screen, and then clicking again, it lists everything in
that album/playlist that will play, which you can navigate
I have a Squeezebox Duet, and SC7.1 running on Windows XP. When browsing
albums by artist most of the album cover thumbnails aren't displayed on
the Duet handset - I get the music symbols instead. The artwork is all
there, and is displayed alongide each track in the playlist in the web
interface.
I have discovered that if the image is too large=high quality picture
the SBC sometimes have problems with showing the album art. I have gone
trough my entire collection and downsized every cover. And now every
cover is showing without any problems. And on top of that I got a

receiver didn't work, phoned support they agreed the receiver was at
fault, as I already have an sb3 a receiver a freind got me I asked
the if it was possible to return just the receiver as I can still use
