for those on a budget in these uncertain times...search out a sb2 on
craig's list (i found one for less than $100) and get an itouch (also
readily available on craig's list.) It's the perfect setup.

I upgraded the controller to 7.2 r3191 but I now get the red wireless
icon after the controller's been to sleep rather than the blue one.
I'm using this with a Transporter, firmware 63 and SC 7.2.1 73496.

Obviously I use MusicIP. Everytime I do a scan for new music I get a

not physically in the folder where I keep my playlists which are
created either with Winamp or Squeezecenter). It's huge (i.e.

Except that its dead. USB has gotten so good, and so cheap, that
Firewire has seen its day. New Apple boxes don't include it.
Call it SCSI of the 21st century.

Todat I bouht a squeezebox duet and trying to instal now for more than
two hours.
The problem is the controller, by installing he is immediately asking
for an update, after the update is 100% he is veriving and this is not
stopping.

Ok, I've run into that issue today. Quick question: did you disable the
"Customize Controller" plugin?

Yesterday, after powering the Duet controller, there was no Wlan icon on
the screen. Connection to SC and SN was not possible. I had to pull out
the batterie for a restart of the controller because pressing the
home-button for a few seconds had no effect. After 4 or 5 restarts the
Duet worked fine

PC World list the Classic and Boom on their website. You can check
whether they're in stock at any store by putting one in your basket,
going to checkout and selecting the 'Collect at Store' option. You put
in your postcode and it shows whether they're available from stock in
your local branches.

Something a bit less permanent than this so
Every time I don't use my SB3 for a couple of days or more, the only way
I can re-establish a connection is by resetting the wireless router.
Trying "setup networking" or "connect to slimserver" or powering off
and on don't work.
Why is this ? Is there a timeout setting that needs changing somewh
