For internet radio - SB has to be able to set up a connection to
internet without using SC whereas local music comes through SC. By
routing through PC it is possible you using some PC settings/config in
preference to router.
A DNS config error or IP/Mac blocking on router could also cause this

The problem appeared to have been with the boom, but it is 8 feet from
the WAP. The SB3 is about 20 feet from the same WAP, and suffers no
issues. The SBR has no issues either, I had them all running over the
weekend with the volume muted. Only the Boom lost contact, which does

- Sometimes I simply cannot work to the network and I am asked to
retry, especially if I want to switch from Squeezecenter to
Squeezenetwork.

I've dropped the file dsbridge.ini, together with DSound.dll and
lame_enc.dll in the spotify folder.
I have a premium account.

Here's my tech issue and setup:
Squeezebox on Rotel Amp, controlled by duet controller. Squeeze
server running on dedicated XP box. Another PC in office using the

remote and set it's Audio Quality to a lower setting while it is still

It is indeed impossible to sync Winamp with a hardware player. You
could try Softsqueeze or Squeezeplay, but those have problems too
depending on OS and soundcard.

I use OrangeCD with very good music management interface.
It manages its own library independent from SqueezeCenter. What I do
is right click on whatever music I want to play, and right click to
