In other words will you avoid any use of DACs if you send output over

I have a collection of collections used by other individuals and

Not sure exactly when it got truncated, but I hadn't been doing anything out of
the ordinary. I opened the MusicIP web server page, and it showed 0 songs.
Something within 1/2 a day had caused it; no log messages, etc.
an alternative is to access it via radiotime. go to internet
radio->search, enter wbur, and select the one you want. then save it as
a favorite for future use.
right now, wbur fm is a 64kb ogg stream on radiotime.

Ok, we might have some progress here!
It seems my little Windows Home Server can't handle a music scan and
playing tunes at the same time.
If i have music streaming then start a scan, the music stops straight
away and the Squeezebox won't start playing again till it's finished or
aborted.
I've
since most of my music files are not supported by iTunes, (specifically
FLAC) is there a "library" application I can use beside ITunes?

Naim CD5x I am not implying the latter is superior by any notion of
absolute measure. I should also emphasise that I suspect the Naim DAC is

I've not heard the new Naim DAC, but given that Naim deliberately
engineer all their kit to the "house sound", it seems extremely likely
that it will sound distinctly different to a TP. Not better or worse -
different. Which one you like best will depend on your personal
preferences.

I agree with your second statement, that indeed would affect revenues.
However trying to sort their international side might provide
significantly greater opportunities. i believe licensing is now

I don't understand why you have that many duplicates in the first place.
If you want the highest bit rate, just delete the rest (well move them
out of you music folder).
IMHO this is not a show stopper. There are many more important
searching / playlisting issues.
