I have used Mozy online backup for a couple of years now. I like the
way it works and it offers off site backup for $5 a month per pc,
unlimited.
The new version of their software even includes local backup as well.
If it works as well as Mozy its should be a very nice addition.

I don't really understand the wireless solutions as explained above

with SB? My current uverse modem/router- I don't think it nor are most
routers compatible with such wifi antennas so I would need to buy a

Correct, you need 7.5.0 or later for the SB Touch. If you're looking to
cannibalize a VFD, note that the display in the SB2 is the same as the
SB3, but it's mounted very differently.

As the SB has many user interfaces, the first question is: top level
menu of what? For any of the SB players or the SB Controller, you can
add "Synchronize" to your top-level menu quite easily. But there is no
way to add it to the top-level of the SBS web ui unless you hack the
HTML.

I'm looking for a way to add custom menu items to the top-level menu.
For instance, I'd love to be able to quickly unsync my Boom and

You can have a cable longer than 300 feet. There is no guarantee that
you'll achieve maximum data transfer speeds though. I assume the only
thing connected to the cable will be the SB. If that is the case, you
shouldn't have any problems. Especially if you keep the cable away from
power lines and

If that's the case, I'll try to find a dead unit to remove the display
from. The new unit looks nice. I wish it had 802.11n though. I'm also
guessing you can't use the 6.x.x software with it.

The display on my SB3 cracked. I found this out after I noticed it

Hi, is the utility able to configure the Squeezebox Classic 3 ? If so
I'd be very interested in trialling it.
I've started using Squeeze Commander and first impressions are that
it's very good.
My equipment is Netgear ReadyNAS Duo running Squeezebox Server 7.50,
Squeezebox Classic 3 and HTC Desi

Speaking of sound cards and ASIO, I stumbled across the Behringer
UCA-202 (about $30 with shipping at B&H).
It's USB and purports to support ASIO, has RCA ins and outs, a

Complaints in the buyer comments on a number of sites are 1) it's

Hi
I have tried to post this question in the "Server" forum, but have got
no reaction from there, so I try here instead.
When using the Advanced Search and not using the field "Track", I would
like the server to report only the album's found, no all tracks from all
album's.

I would not use mp3gain. Even if you get it right it's not as good as
dbpoweramp or foobar for replaygain. The other thing that I don't like
about it is that it can only write ape tags. They can foul up on lots
of players and there is no need for them.
