The squeezeslave seems an interesting piece of software, I have been using squeezeplay, it's Java and will not work with ASIO in Windows or Core Audio in Mac I guess. However, squeezeslave only do 16/44.1, wonder how difficult to modify it to be able to do 24/192 over ASIO or Core Audio? Thanks.

If you installed LMS on a Windows PC it will have created a Control Panel icon on your desktop. (Probably the same for Mac OS or linux but I don't have experience with those.) Open that application and go to the Advanced tab. Toward the bottom of the tab there is a section called Cleanup.
