Look for a NAS of a well known brand (good support and wide spread). It
is preferred to have a NAS with an Intel based architecture but it is
not a requirement. ARM based will work well too considering you select
one with enough processing power.
Im using a ReadyNAS NVX (Intel based) and that wor

Yes it does. All of the players are there. I'm sure it was there
before. I was certainly controlling it from my Android phone. I just
couldn't do certain things like play radio stations or podcasts.

Then I think you are SOL because LMS will use MySB in the background,

If the wandboard is viable for us, I'm thinking about doing a Gen0.5,
this is a quick and dirty carrier board with:
DAC chip
TOSLINK,
2 USB jacks (one for host only and one for OTG)
ethernet,
serial port
I will make just three of these by hand, keep one and send the others to

no. The router is password protected.

Yes, definitely make sure it either comes with LMS or you can install
and run it, before you spend the money on a NAS. Another brand of NAS
that I know supports LMS is the Netgear ReadyNAS. I've been using one
for years for the same backup/streaming purposes you're looking for, and
it works great.
To expand a bit on Michael's answer, you'll be setting those parameters
pretty much by trial-and-error, so be prepared to spend a little time
tweaking and nudging the values.

Yes that's the way. From the web interface you can control any player
already, so I suppose Triode didn't feel the need for a plugin web page.

I've just been taking a look at the Wandaboard. I've got my fingers
crossed that this will deliver, for USB and MCLK in/out on the EDM
connector. I like the idea of daughterboard and being able to choose

Ah. Well, for HD you also would have to have _huge_ artwork to make
sense, it uses the retina resolution so to fill the screen you'd need
1536x1536 pixels.

Apologies if this is an old one. I've replaced an ageing Arcam AV amp

bypass for music playing and I was happily syncing multiple SB systems
in the house. The Anthem, being a fancy computer, has introduced a delay
