I'm sorry for the delay... there's a bit of a learning curve for me. This is
one of the parts of a release I've never done. Any pointer would be greatly

Yes, because they not support direct streaming Spotify requires.
If you try to use 2 old players then you will notice the issue.

Also tried upgrading via repository (debian) and did not find the new
version. This is they way I did it in the past.

If you have Toto on some best of or compilation check those files.
It only takes one misstaged toto file with an artistsort or similar done
wrong to sort all of toto this way.

Seriously though I find AlbumArtist usually fixes this issue. Mp3tag
will show you where the problem lies if you look hard enough.
