You can indeed but I adopted RG as opposed to Normalisation some while
ago.
There is a Normalisation option in VinylStudio but my collection is

I think this is worth announcing as otherwise it will slip under the
radar

@Michael
I have got to ask - why are there 10 presets for a Radio or Boom when
both devices only have 6 buttons to my knowledge ?

Hi everyone,
I have a question on how to bring music which is on your mobile device
to LMS an than distribute it to the Players connected to it.
I think there are 2 ways of doing it:
1) Stream via Airplay to a specific Player. This works great with
Philips ShareTunes2 Plugin. Easy to install a
Connect Squeesebox Touch to amplifier without cables.
Got a DLNA 1.0, UPnP 1.0, and Airplay enabled amplifier.
So I want to stream music to either it´s DLNA / UPnp, airplay, is it
possible.

A SB Touch has to be physically connected to an amplifier
If you have LMS on a PC then you could install Phillipes Airplay bridge
plugin and stream directly to the amp via AirPlay
You will find info about the Bridge plugin in Third Party Software
VB2.4[/B] STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS)

I think 2) will work but I dont think 1) will for the reason you have
given

Ill add my voice to BosseJs - I am currently using option no 1 as
outlined. Seems ok to me.

I've saved this also as a favourite and it works. My players settings
for don't stop the music is set to Lastmix
Every random mix starts with at least a title from my local library

I think this goes back to the days when you could assign a favourite to
a IR remote number button. Memory is a bit vague how this worked, it

is there any way to extend the alarmÂs fade in time to about 20/30
minutes on the logitech squeezebox boom or at the media server, (on a

my alarm audio gradually.

Remote controls can have presets on their buttons 0-9.

It's actually a very recent addition: ralphy extended the six to ten

Every random mix starts with at least a title from my local library and
when the localy saved titles are finished Lastmix takes over and
titles form e.g. Tidal are played, thats how it works in my case. Can I
create a random mix for e.g. a single genre that starts directly with
music from a stream

No, the value currently is hard-coded to 20s.

Hi,
thank you very much for the information. That helped a lot :-)
I did not know the Group Plugin. This is really good.
However - and I had that also before when I streamed to one Single
Player:
Sometimes it cannot connect to the device. It takes some time and than
there's a hint that Airplay
