Ah - finding a small switch was something I didn't resolve, opting for
the Netgear FS605 in the end. Luckily I had a spare mains socket and
could hide it behind the cabinet so it is unseen. A flashing ethernet
switch is not an ornament that Mrs Andyb01 would tolerate
the switch I have had no probs whatsoever.

I had a problem like this - could not detect DHCP with a homeplug and
wouldn't work on a fixed IP either using a DG834 router. In the end
fixed by adding an ethernet switch (Netgear FS605) between the SB and
the homeplug and then worked like a charm ever since.
Might help

Very odd that - mine also works in a second window but I still have to
crash the first to close it. However since an upgrade to 7.1 it works
fine.

disincentive! Have tried tweaking loads of settings in iTunes but
can't get round this problem so if anyone knows a solution then please
post!
I don't really think downloads offer value for money - better off with
CDs at least you don't have to back them up!!

tech support in helping isolate the specific

also a scanned file.
Hope this helps anyone else having a similar problem

If you are not loading huge files across your network the 14Mbps
solution is fine for squeezebox and cost a good deal less.

Look's like I'll just have to source my music from CD and use my
workaround for the odd iTunes purchase. I have never understood
Apple's attitude on DRM - it just annoys people and wastes their time
whilst offering very little addition
her iTunes tracks are just quiet or is there a simpler and
quicker way I can fix this?
