If the xlinx does not work and the Factory reset does not work then yes

What firewalls and antivirus do you have on your computer?
Seems like something is blocking communication between your Squeezebox
and your computer.
The ports that need to be open are TCP 9000 and TCP & UDP 3483

This issue has been coming up a lot today and the best solution so far
that I have found is to:
1. Uninstall SqueezeCenter
2. Uninstall AVG
3. Re install SqueezeCenter
4. Re install AVG.
This has worked for a handful of customers today.

I had this issue with a customer the other day. and basically what fixed
it was a factory reset after the remote would not respond.

A factory reset is worth a try.
Unplug the unit.
While plugging the unit back in hold down the (+) key on the remote.
You should see the words 'Factory Reset' on the front if it was
executed correctly.

Contact Support and let them know that you can bring it by.
They should be able to give you an RMA # and then you can just walk in
with your unit and that RMA #.
Keep in mind that they will not fix your SB2 on the spot. But it should
not take them too long.

Who makes your anti virus? If it is Norton or McAfee and you have the
installation disks, you may want to try uninstalling as these programs
usually leave stuff running in the background.

Lastly, type:
$ pwd
This will list for you the full path to your HD. You can then add the
path to the Type or copy/paste that path into the SlimServer settings
box for your music path.

If you open SlimServer and go to Player Settings. Change the ScreenSaver
for when playing a song to Spectrum Analyzer. That should do the trick.

Slim.pref file is the most important, you should be able to copy the
plugin folder and move it to the new machine. After that your
SlimServer should look the same.

Another thing to also try is to move some music to your local hard drive
and give that a scan. Then try and see if there is any improvement. What
happens when you are connected to SN?

Unfortunately there is no way to set the sleep from the web interface.
You are able to control screensavers and such but not the sleep
function.

What is your SSID? Are you sure you are connected to the right network?
The SB3 will only detect
