Just a quick question to clarify.
Am I right in thinking that a silver SB must be a version 2? Or were the
different colours introduced into the SB1?
Thanks

That's pretty much what I was wondering. I've noticed that the 7 branch has
disappeared from the nightly builds, so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Not just 7.0. You should aslo be able to access with 6.5.1, as

Im running 6.2.2 on Windows Media
Centre without problems. The symptoms you have described have cropped up a few
times recently. Usually seems to be fixed by rebooting the server, and then
downloading and installing SlimServer again. Dont ask me why, but it
seems to work.

How did it know to wake me up this morning with the only

I'm using a nightly from a couple of days ago and it seems that the menu

I used to be able to drill in the following way using the remote:

I think I've found a bug/issue with the Random Mix feature.
When you go to random track mix, it loads up 10 tracks, when it's played
one, that track gets deleted from the playlist and another one gets
added to the end of the playlist. In this way, it's always on track 1 of

Whilst lying in bed, falling asleep and listening to my Squeezebox last
night, I came up with a great (and probably quite simple) enhancement

a good idea.
Basically it's an extension of the 'Sleep' function, to switch
My reasoning behind having my SB switch off when the current song
finishes is that I often listen to music while reading etc., before
going to sleep. When I decide it's time to go to sleep, I don't
necessarily want to shut off the current song mid-flow, but I equally
don't want it to keep
This is a bit OT, but I'm looking for a utility for mass converting MP3 files.
I have about 8500 tracks, all MP3 all 320kbps, all tagged and set up as

I want to find a utility which I can point at the root of this directory
