app. The confusion is in associating client-server with the "web
browser" experience.
A client server app has the major advantage of allowing multiple GUIs
on multiple platforms controlling the same thing.

User self-help is pretty much standard nowdays in the industry.
I can understand the feelings of "betrayal", especially if one is a
major contributor, but there was never any guarantee of longevity. SB
could have gone bust tomorrow.

We already know what Logitech is (reasonably) good at, and it sure as
heck is not audio.
This means an SB3 (or derivative) will have to cost about $150 to sell
as a Logitech. And that, in turn, might mean a lot when it comes to
quality.

difference. I had difficulty hearing it before i got the TacT RCS. I

actually hear anything while moving is almost useless anyway, I think

Please excuse me if some of the things I have comment
erver, doing transcoding on the fly from AAC while communicating via
wifi (11 Mbit!) between both laptop and SB3, and it all works fine.
