the easy winner?
Thanks,
Paul

It's tempting! Does that price include import tax?

An alternative would be to enable SB to play DRM tracks downloaded from
Napster. This would mean the tracks/albums etc would appear in the
music library as normal but (more importantly for me) would also mean
we'd get better quality 192 vs 128Kbits.
Any chance of this?

compilations to the
napster library under something like 'various artists', (as done in the
music library within squeezecenter).
Access to the vast music library of Napster via the squeezeboxes is a
great feature - but the interface could definitely do with a little
refinement.

Seems like it's more trouble than it's worth and I guess re-ripping
would affect the quality... Thanks for the reply anyway.

play the downloaded tracks on my squeezeboxes and therefore get the
better quality - or would the DRM protection prevent this in both
cases?

If you're into DIY and like tinkering with PCs, MythTV might be worth a
look.

I've not yet tried it myself but the thing that appeals is that it's
continuously being developed.

disabling it fixes the problem.
So sorry for the wild goosechase - as I say nothing to do with

Any help or suggestions to workaround this would be great (other than
the obvious Turn the squeezebox off)
Thanks

There also might be a clue in this problem when firing up the upnp
