My crashing occurs regardless of what SB3 is connected to
(Squeezenetwork or Slimserver). Wireless conect = crash. Wired
connection = no crash. The box is being returned for replacement on
basis that if it crashes, its is faulty.

crossed its just a Friday afternoon box which can be replaced.
Will post if this resolves it or anything if anything comes to light in
the meantime.

simple faulty, regardless of cause (firmware, hardware or an
oversensivity to microwave ovens).

Dropped connections wouldn't be so bad, as I could get some diagnostic
software on the case, but the SB3 crashing is making diagnosis a little
difficult.
