I have been using Jivelite for Windows for a few weeks now and loving
it! I've found two minor glitches I'll describe below, but first I'll
list my system:
1.) File Server in separate room running Windows 7 x64 and LMS 7.9.0.
2.) Laptop at listening position running Windows 7 x64, using web

Exactly. One concern with DLNA is that gapless playback is optional,
not required. Support for gapless is needed in both the server and
renderer for gapless play

Thanks! I just ordered a spare Touch, so that trick may come in handy
at some time in the future.
I'm curious about this, as it isn't obvious on the surface what
functionality is being provided by mysqueezebox.com behind the scenes.
I run my touch from LMS with a laptop controlling the web interface. I
browse shoutcast.com a lot. Do the features under the Internet Radio

Thanks once again, it's working great! I use this on a couple of forums
that use the new vBulletin, and the earlier one for forums using earlier
vBulletin versi
Search is not working correctly for me. If I click on my user name in
an existing post and choose "view forum posts", the most recent post

it through Advanced Search, a similar thing happens, though I get a
different set of

Excellent, thank you very much!

My qualifications are irrelevant. It is only you who are concerned
about them, which is why I brought them up. There are serious problems
with the software that I have brought up, and have submitted bug reports
for. That's the only thing that matters.

Sean is a great guy who has done a superb job with the Squeezebox and
Transporter hardware. But the so-called "software QA" of SlimServer is
a complete joke - if it exists at all, which I doubt. Sean has
associated himself with bad company here, which will have the
a bug and the time it gets fixed.
Patches welcome.

8) Run the normal SoftSqueeze install procedure from the help page.
This made the SoftSqueeze error go away for me. Hope it works for you.

S, if input regarding the non-default skin behavior in the 6.5 beta

So, with all these conversions that you've done, could it be some mixup
