I can very highly recommend the Home Theater Master MX-500 univeral
remote as a substitute. Only got my SB3 yesterday and the first thing I
did was to teach the MX-500 the SB remote and I'll pack the SB remote
away.

SetPoint so your app becomes a recognised media player for SetPoint?

I've been getting this exact same problem and I browse by folder (as
it's much easier to organise my music that way). Browse by album works
okay but is awkward to use.
I'm using Slimserver 6.3.1 and Firmware 55 on a Squeezebox 3.
nd feel though (I'm a software developer, not an artist
:D), though the C++ is a little rusty as I've been doing C# for a few
years now. Now if we had Qt.Net on Symbian... :D

I also listen to last.fm
using a plugin to foobar, and via Mobbler on my Nokia N80 and I suspect
they might get blocked. There have already been issues where last.fm
changed the API and the 3rd party developers have mentioned that
last.fm were talking about access rights to
be great. I'm not interested in Spotify until I can access
it in the same way I can access last.fm and the like. At the moment
it's nothing more than an iTunes kind of app but with a live stream and
adverts (and I won't touch iTunes with a 50 foot bar
x27;t be surprised also if this results in only high priced
commercial Internet Radio surviving and also those stations being
restricted regionally so of course us Brits pay twice or three times as
much as the rest of the world
then discovered Slimserver was falling over every minute or
so.
Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but same problem.
6.5.1 is certainly no go for me. I'll just have to try reinstalling
6.5.0.
