I think that controller playback will be "beta" even when 7.3 releases but I've used it a few times and find it to have very good sound quality and it makes moving around the house when you can't have the house systems on a real pleasure.

I was planning on using my sb3 to actually do the music playing - just wanted the ps3 for doing some bigger controlling UI work. Would be nice to have a video server, though - I'll have to take a look at the software you mentioned for that. Thanks! -- dwilli

ks as cool as a windows media player system browsing through the albums graphically. I always figured that I'd have to get a quiet linux box with wireless keyboard/mouse and hook it up to the AV Reciever to do something like this but the ps3 will already be there...
