No, no, it's the old paid tapatalk before they replaced it with the new
strange ad infested stupid one.
But if nothing changed on the server side I need to look into my
devices. Both tablets and the phone don't like slimdevices any more.

Tapatalk (the Mobile Phone Forum app) seems to be broken. I Can See that
there are new posts, but I can't retrieve the content.
Other forums with Tapatalk are working. App on my phone hasn't been
updated for years.
Did anything change in the forum's setup?

This morning it worked.
The two times it didn't work, the boom turned on, displayed the station
information but made no sound.

Any news on this topic? Since a few days i have the same issue.
Squeezebox turns on, displays station information but is silent.
Hitting the favorite button with the same station url starts to play
immediately.

The developer (flatterman) dropped out of sight end of 2011 and hasn't
returned to the forum. So no further development is happening.

There is no different Layout for tablets. It simply works the same way.
If you already bought sc for your nexus4, just install it on the tablet
no need to buy it again.

the linked amazon deal is strange. The picture is for a small gt7725

They are basic PCs with an external power brick. I don't remember if

afaik The smallest gt7725 has 1gb ram and 1gb flash.
You can install any os you like as long as the storage constrict allows
it or you install it on some external USB storage.

There is a setting to deactivate a background squeezecommander

you need to deactivate the background service and exit squeezecommander

thanks for the replies. A pitty no official is reacting.
The question was more about the evaluation of all available options.
I'm too lazy to build a live image or distribution. Users should read
documentation an learn how to use their system ;)

redistribution is
not allowed. I guess the firmware contains/used licensed code (mp3
decoder, fpga compiler, ip stack, ...) that is not allowed for
redistribution, but i can only guess.
