To rule out the power supply, you could swap it with one from an SB3.
It sounds like the unit is loosing contact with the server and just
playing what is in the buffer.
Have you tried a factory re-set? or a Xilinx reset?

about 8 or 9 months since the initial release and ther
have been i think 4 minor bug fix releases and two major updates since
the initial 7.0.
The nightly builds of 7.2 should be about as stable as you can get in
my opinion.

I'm pretty sure syncing is not supported for transcoded tracks like
ACC.
This may well be different once the New Streaming code has been full
integrated and polished up for 7.3.

Which server version are you running with your Qnap?
You will need SqueezeCenter 7.0 or higher (7.1 or 7.2 would be a good

DVDFab no longer supports CSS copy protected DVDs.
Does the PS3 support MPEG-2? if so, there are loads of tools out there
to strip the unused audio and subtitle tracks from the VOB leaving you
with a regular MPEG-2 PS video and audio stream./

All the Genre information is pulled from your files, so clearing the
database and re-scanning from scratch should clear the list of Genres
in SqueezeCenter.

Do you have any other web servers on your PC that run on Port 80?
If not, there is no reason you can't change the SC7 port to 80, making
your mobile provider think you are just accessing a regular site. Even
if you do it temporarily, it would be good for trouble shooting.

The problem is that the SB1 needs the FLAC transcoded to either WAV or
MP3 to play. No idea if command line arguments can be added to
convert.conf to reduce the bit depth of the output for the SB1.

Significant changes were made to the plugin architecture for SC7 so the
plugin will need to be updated to make it work with SC7.

I can't say for sure, but I would guess that SC7 isn't expecting to have
a FLAC radio station (which is what it assumes the URL is) so doesn't
know what to do with the input.
