I'm struggling with this. I have it installed and running on WHS but
what folder can you point it at? Files backed up from PCs are not
accessible (as far as I can see) and shared folders have some form of
size quota on them that I haven't found a way of removing.
Thanks

The PC has three drives and the smallest is probably 80Gbytes which
seemed sensible, even generous, for a system drive. So presumably I
could copy in small batches but with 400 Gbytes FLAC and slow file
copies I think I'll be ditching WHS/

I retired the SB3 to the bedroom as others just couldn't work it with
these silly pauses.
It's wired there but still the same stalling behaviour. No torrents or
P2P on my network.

I had the same problem - SB3 worked fine on wireless and not via a known
good homeplug.
My stuttering menus have now caused me to buy a new media-centre PC to
replace the SB3.

Ah well, I am on wireles (the server is wired to the switch) but once
it's streaming (flac) it's generally perfect - never any stutters just
the occasional full stop.

is that the SB will sometimes just stop
playing and go back to the stopped screensaver. Pressing play causes
it to restart where it left off.

Mine started this behaviour recently - yesterday it was really bad so I
forced a firmware update. It was fine after that but too soon to be sure
it was the fix.

Well no response yet, and Unlimited also has the commercials. Oddly
enough my account is recognised for Soundpass if I log in via the
RadioIO web site.

- $199 on the only one I have access to from the office so
perhaps it's an incorrect price on the Logitech US
site? At $199 it's still a long way from £179 but I noticed PC World
had them on the shelves at £129.

I use homeplugs for this too - the server is in the garage - it it works
well but I've also tried connecting the SB3 via a homeplug too and it
just didn't work properly at all.

upgrade?

Here's an interesting thing though. When I try to connect to Live365 it
allows me to browse the genres which it downloads successfully. When I
try to play it tries to connect then I see a timeout message along with
a URL.

The network is as @ #3 - straight to the wireless router.
I've checked the gateway DNS IP addresses in the SB3 - they are
correct. I'm getting RSS feeds so the connectivity must be there for
that musn't it?

changed from cable to ADSL and changed router
at the same time. In fact the router is still a Netgear and I don't
think I did a thing to the previous one for SB3 access.

I've no idea why but my SB3 is rubbish over Homeplugs. It would be
connecting to a SlimServer also on a Homeplug and that works well when
going wirelessly for the SB3 part.
Curious - the plug itself seems OK as it's in use the rest of the time
on my son's laptop.

I'd like to be able to browse by Composer as well as Artist. In fact
it's more than 'like' - it's almost essential for listening to
classical/serious music.
[No doubt somebody will no tell me it's already there]
