Thanks for the advice on un-embedding guys.
I have 3 copies of my library at the moment, HD, NAS (routine backup)
and external 'security disc', so am quite prepared to play a little
with Bliss in automagic mode.

I'm about to try Bliss on my messy artwork, how do I 'un-embed' artwork
that is already done?
And is it better to do this before I let Bliss loose on my collection?
Thanks in advance.

I have defeated the wee one's urge to post rusks and cookies into disc

The Nacmacfeegle are a set of characters in Terry Pratchett's books.

Yes, I use it on windows XP, and all the set up is done in the

Very simple for windows users.
Why don't you post the queries on the thread above, I'm sure someone
would be able to help you.
Good luck, happy listening.

Maybe try inserting a slivver of coloured acetate between the light pipe

I had cause to change the colour of one of my SB3s recently and used

Woobag, can you get the Squeezebox to connect to Squeezenetwork?
This will confirm (or otherwise)the SB>homeplug>router>internet is
working.
You don't say how your server is connected or what it is etc...

I now have three SB3s all on the ground floor and in adjacent (pretty
much) rooms. FWIW I seldom synch the set up, mostly due to my
listening habits. Plus I don't really like leaving stereos etc
switched on if nobody is in the room.

I use a couple of Devolo Homeplugs to connect an SB3 to my router, it

I'm pretty sure that if you 'browse music folder' via the SB to your
changed music directories, eg a new album etc, then you don't need a
rescan.

standardisation or some sort of technical lock down as part
of the simplification.
So for the future, maybe a dumbed down Slim base and preconfigured
SBs, all talking to each other straight out of the box, just like a
Sonos.

My bairn is almost 4, he loves the squeezebox especially when the
'jumping beans' (equaliser screensaver) dance to his favourite songs.
He knows how to cue them up by pressing the favourite button then the
play button on the remote.
