My Duet is almost 5 years old and almost zero issues even with all the
server upgrades. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Although I do have to say now that the purchase price of iPeng is a
distant memory I like the app quite a bit. I never use the controller
any more.

How do I get rid of the following error message from my server log:
MyRadio::Plugin. Error: Plugin is incompatible with this version of
SqueezeCenter. Please update.
I went into setup/plugins, but myradio is grayed out so I cannot even
unselect it. I don't use this feature.

try temporarily disabling your anti-virus and re-run the update. that
has fixed this problem in many cases.
when finished, re-enable the av and fw.

There are a couple of sticky posts at the top of the general discussion
board. One deals with contacting support...which it sounds like you
should do. If it turns out there is a bug, there is a second sticky
describing how those should be reported.

Have you tried installing the 7.2 version of SC now that it is formally
released? After the install, the controller should prompt you to
upgrade firmware once you turn it on.

a full house
surge protector where the electric company feed meets your circuit box.
If your house gets hit by lightening, the protector will fry but will
prevent the surge from coming into the home (so it would need to be
replaced at
einstall) that sounds like a
good thing to do.
As with 7.1, this was a pretty painless upgrade. Good job Logitech
guys.

if you're dealing with wma and/or mp3's, WMP works well too. I agree
with the other poster, I don't look to SC to manage play lists (which I
have no issue with). It does great as a media
sure
you save it in whatever folder SC looks for playlists and also save it
in a format SC can read (.m3u).

it will depend on your listening habits. Personally, I fire up
a Rhapsody station or a long playlist and just let it go. But if you
like to skip around a lot within your music library on the fly, the
remote would be much better. Otherwise you'd have to stay parked in
front of your comp

Also, definitely run the network health test as others have suggested.

you mean the receiver right? I have found that a cold start (unplug,
wait about 5 mins, plug back in) solves a world of weirdness problems.
Not sure if it will he
unless you have tried that already). Wait a few minutes and plug it
back in.
My experiences with other wireless media servers has proven that a cold
start can do a world of good. Not sure if this will help you or not but
it is worth a try.
