I am running Visa on my notebook since November 06, and have no problems
whatsoever. I must say, of all the OS's I have run so far (DSL,
Mandriva, Suse. Ubuntu, Windows XP sp2), this is the most stable one I

After reading about the problems that a lot of folks are having with the
new download, I am a bit hesitant to download the new 6.5.2. I finally
have my SS 6.5.1 and SBv3 running flawlessly so I really think I should
leave well enough alone. Any comments on this would be welcomed.

(Upgrade. I made the mistake of uninstall-then-reinstall once, and
lost every single one of my favorites, settings, and all the rest).

My advice is to check the changelog at
http://www.slimdevices.com/Changelog6.html to see if any of the
bugfixes in 6.5.2 are important to you. If none of them are, stick with
6.5.1 for now.
Personally, I found the fix for Random Play (it's not very random in
6.5.1) sufficiently appealing to

Most important bugs (I don't care about any Vista/Windows issues) are
fixed in the firmware.
You can install the new firmware without using 6.5.2, I've been running
this way for weeks.
