That was my thought also, but I didn't know if it was actual fact, now I
know, thanks.
With Sonos it is usually easier to "Assume" it can't be done because of
closed private software

I hope they provide you as much joy as Squeezebox did. A friend of mine
had a very bad experience with Simple Audio. He bought a Roomplayer for
about 800 Euro (new) only to find out that the company went bankrupt a

I have 2 SBB's and I love them. But when Logitech dropped Sirius/XM I
knew I would eventually have to switch. I use the Squeezebox app on my
Ipad and that works fine. I never was into LMS. It was too much of a
hassle. So I bought into the Sonos system and the app is very easy to
use. The units

Arniceous, much of what you said originally was misleading and that's
the annoying part. Sonos isn't an open source product like LMS but it's
also not a closed product like itunes or Apple products. It's not an
Apple product and it really doesn't

Exile - I think there is a considerable appeal in the Sonos approach to
music streaming, and it has been interesting to hear your motivation for
the switch, and your experiences.
